I WANT TO LIVE

“Stop Mummy” came a voice
The lady looked around in confusion
“I am here in your belly”
Then she found out the solution
It was her baby
Whom she could feel
It was real
It wasn't a dream
“Please don't kill me mommy”
Pleaded the baby
but this wasn't enough
to move the lady
She was determined
to go for an abortion
the life of her baby depended on her action
The Baby said
“Please don't wish me to death ”
Give me birth, I want to live
on this beautiful earth
After spending so much time within you
I am curious about god's creations
Please don't shatter my dreams
don't lead them to destruction
I also want to experience the beautiful nature
How it looks like when dew shines through sunlight
How it looks like when the rainbow comes in the sky
How it feels when cold breeze blows past you
How it feels when your mother holds you
I also want to know
How it looks like when sun peeps through dark clouds
How it looks like when the night moon comes out
How it looks like when the stars twinkle
How it looks like when the rain sprinkles
I want to experience my Mother's love
I want to experience my father's care
and above all mummy
I want to experience how it feels to be a mother
Please don't kill me mummy
Just because I am a girl
you were also given birth
Inspite of being a girl
The lady was broken and shattered
her legs stopped
tears were trickling down her eyes
as she realized her fault
She went back to her house
with a promise that she'll give love to her child
A promise that she'll give happiness to her child
and a promise
that she'll give birth to her child
